Starving in this breath
Shaking in these bones
What's left to reflect
On the unknown

Anointed shadows wait
For moments like this
For frail words to escape
From these pale lips

But nothing more than moonlight
Steals darkness from me

Keeps me company

Picures frame these scapes
Folded in a shirt
A stain fails to escape
To undermine it's worth

Sudden with each step
Pulled by an unseen force
Were angels unabashedly wept
Absent of discourse
In these foul depths
We've no need for words

Where nothing more than moonlight
